Our Carers are all thoroughly screened through Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and comprehensive background checks are carried out. Furthermore, our Carers are personally trained by our management team in line with the Skills for Care Induction for Care Workers, giving them the knowledge and understanding of their role.
With respect to service user feedback concerning the quality-of-Care Services provided this information is formally reviewed for content and possible action. These reviews classify service user feedback as follows, and is considered as positive through to negative feedback. Types of feedback:
- Compliments – positive input regarding aspects of the Care Service
- Comments – still positive, but possible scope for improvement
- Concerns – negative feedback where action may be required to address a problem
- Complaints – serious concerns on the part of the service user, requiring formal action.
The best way to solve this is to have a key-safe fitted to the outside of your property. This allows your care workers that will be told the combination code to let themselves in when they arrive.
We charge a flat rate per hour of service depending on which service you need. We will clarify with you before your care starts how much your services will cost to ensure that there is no confusion.
If your regular care worker is sick/has an emergency or is on holiday. We will certainly supply a highly qualified alternative care worker who has visited you before and already knows you, that can pick up where your regular care worker left off. In the case that we would need to send you a new care worker, before sending them we will contact you to let you know that someone new is visiting and to tell you a little about them.
